Loved Beyond Measure

Posted in Uncategorized at 7:39 am by Broken & Brave

I’m not and advocate of weighing my clients, but weigh ins are probably good to establish a baseline for goals. I keep a tape measure in my handbag because I am frequently asked to record measurements. This is indeed more accurate than a scale. Weighing and measuring helps you to know where you are, set your barometer, so you know where you want to go and about how long it will take to reach the goal. Having a purpose for your goal will drive you farther to reach it than you know! The stronger the purpose and reason the more resilient your persistence. Still, I don’t know too many women who actually enjoy being weighed and measured. So I make it as gentle, nurturing and encouraging a process as possible.

Life can sometimes make us feel we are being weighed and measured. Folks all around looking you up and down searching for flaws and inconsistencies. Demands on our schedules can leave you tattered and tired. Expectations of those we love can cause us to feel we fall short of loving them well. But there is one who weighed and measured himself so you can feel light and free. His ruler was carved from a tree mounted on the hills at Calvary.

God doesn’t want to weigh you or measure you. He wants to love you. Embrace Him today. Everything is going to be ok. You are loved. You are significant. You are valued. You are esteemed and you are very needed. ~Nicole

Lady In Waiting

“But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Cor. 13:13

Love is patient and kind. It looks out for others. It thinks of itself less and others more. Love is gentle and quiet yet possesses all the roar of a lion or the fiercest ocean at storm. Love does not compromise and it is pristine. Love is all things classy.

Esther, Ruth, Mary the mother of Jesus, three women who I imagine knew how to keep it classy as they loved beyond their capacity to understand. They did it for the good of their common man. They lived a life worthy of esteem to be an example of Proverbs 31 woman kind of living.

Class is elegant. It is a disposition that maintains a posture of peace and position. It is regal in its own sort of way. It understands the beauty found in simplicity. It is meek and humble. It is gentle and easy, yet it is a yolk of the Lord not easily handled. It is costly like precious metals and gems, and it shines with brilliance.

The best kind of bling isn’t found in a ring, but in the heart that possesses the sweet residue of Heaven. Hold you head high today, Ladies. For you are each God’s Lady in Waiting. He’s got goodness in store for you. I believe in you, too! ~Nicole

Stellar Quality

People who enjoy canoeing are familiar with the Outrigger Canoe Club. I’m not sure how many there are, but I am aware of one in Newport Beach, Ca. and Honolulu, Hawaii. We’ve attended canoe events in Orange County and have enjoyed many meals at the club on the beach in the Aloha state. John and I are not members nor do we canoe, but we have friends who do.

If you have never been, the clubs are posh. Prestigious. Expensive. It is an exclusive environment. It’s made special. It is designed for those social elite or financially well to do who enjoy this type of exclusivity.

This is how God is toward you. He’s got the most exclusive club of all, but the catch is admission is a free gift of Grace and anyone can join.

Have you ever had something of moderate quality? You were happy with it, until you sampled something of stellar quality and you realized what you had been missing out on. You begin to work toward the better. People spend more hours at the office, more money, more time to obtain the better. That’s how it is with Gods Love. He finds the good in you and He stirs it up to make it better…Stellar Quality. You begin to bubble up from within and you cannot deny it, you want others to try it. Then, they too can taste and see that He is the best!

You have unlimited, untapped potential still awaiting you. God sees it. He wants nothing more than to stir up and Overflow All that is good inside of you. Stellar Quality.

Build It!

Posted in Devotional, Uncategorized tagged , , , , , , at 6:45 am by Broken & Brave

“Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.” Genesis 6:9

If God is ever going to do anything great with your life you must first believe in His power in your life. We can aspire, discipline ourselves, set goals and pursue them all, but without the right foundation it will collect mold. The dream or accomplishment won’t hold.

Noah’s biggest miracle wasn’t building an ark or gathering animals or even life in the first boat. His greatest Miracle was believing God.

Get it down deep. Let it stir your soul as you sleep. Christ was the Prophet the grave couldn’t keep. He has a dream for your life that will preserve your life with hope that floats. Build it! ~Nicole

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” James 1:17

Jacob wrestled with God. He came face to face with His Maker and yet his life was spared. It was there that God gave him a new name, Israel, and he was never the same.

How about you? Are you calling yourself by an old name, old expectations of old habits never to change? Don’t let it be so! God has spoken over you a new name and you are not the same!

He is constant. He is continual. He is Penial. He is Purposeful. He is large and in charge for every care right down to every little hair of your head. His Love is in every detail. Without fail. You’re going to prevail. Get excited! ~Nicole

Trust-Love & Confidence (TLC)

Posted in Uncategorized at 6:33 am by Broken & Brave

“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.” Jeremiah 17:7

God always wants us to trust Him, but did you ever stop and realize that He is willing to place trust and confidence in us? It’s true. The Creator of the Universe stood before time and had a dream of your life and what you would look like. Think about it. If you’re a Mother you remember before your little bundle arrived you did this, too. But your very DNA already fore knew what would grow and become within your womb. God dreamed of it all…not just your physical appearance but your walk, your talk, your mannerisms. He left out no details. He dreamed of how you would think and what your voice would sound like. He gave you dreams and joys and ambitions, too. He already knew what he had invested in you and the level of commitment He was planning to devote to you. God did and spoke all of who you are into Creation before He placed the first twinkle of Light in His blanket called night. He knew you were capable of making the world bright.

The key is to seek the Almighty and allow His Trust and Love to keep a heart soft while developing its ability to handle life’s hurts and disappointments. It is not easy, not for anyone.

God designed us each so uniquely, but He also put an ability for Faith, supernatural faith, entrusted from His heart to ours.

Sometimes we can find the courage to walk through when we know their is a friend to stand beside us. God is that friend. Your pain will never be too big, trial too hard, circumstance too grim to make him shrink back. He is in it all the way. He plans to stay.

Wait on the Lord.
You can trust him.

Before all of time He stood back in space and could already see the exact dimension of your face, the lines of your eyes and how you would carry out your life. He is besotted with His Bride. He will never force his confidence on us, for He is a gentleman, but He will let us know that He is there, giving strength. God is a Rescuer and He rescues every time. He won’t leave you or forsake you. He’s invested too much of Himself into you. He’s got you…for the long haul. ~Nicole

“Lord, I am so sorry I don’t trust you more. Please forgive me for my lack of understanding regarding your deep care. Forgive me for not grasping the abundant life you desire to cultivate. Help me to not shrink back, but to have YOUR confidence. you will Rescue me from every dark or shadowy thing and bring me fully into your Life and Light. Amen.”
