Signs

C6D71097-367C-4B75-A4B8-C0B6CA68A6CE
I had a conversation with a gal yesterday and within our talking I shared my dislike for driving.

I don’t enjoy driving very much.

I guess overall I don’t mind driving, when I think about it, but I drive so much everyday out of necessity and over long distances…it’s a lot of time in the car. I guess that’s what I dislike. So maybe if my experience were different—I’d feel different.

I’m such an observant person by nature. I pick up in the little details that largely go unnoticed by others. I see things I am not looking for or meaning to see…they just seem overwhelmingly obvious to me. I connect the dots well. I recognize signs.

This got me thinking…

God gives signs everywhere. This makes sense to me because He IS everywhere. It’s like I can smell His Breath in the air, feel His Pleasures in my cares. I feel His kiss on the gentle breeze. I feel him cradle my legs when I’m on my knees. My soul desires nothing on earth more than to please Him. So this is why I write.

I don’t like to drive. I said that and you know…it is not something I look forward to doing. But I understand it’s necessity and the brilliant plans God unfolds for myself and my family and every opportunity He brings to me when I willingly set myself in the drivers seat and turn the ignition with my key.

God has keys and they sometimes come to us as signs. He is in the wind. He is in the trees. He bends and folds with the breeze, but His roots are resilient and sure and He is ultimately in charge of everything. He alone gets me from point A to point B safely. And so I write…

There are gifts, talents, abilities and destiny locked inside each one of us. God is the giver and cultivator of promise and blessings. Sometimes He calls us to go, do, explore…drive the vehicle of life. We don’t always want to take the lead or drivers seat. Just like how when I’m with my family I prefer not to drive. I like to let someone else do it. I prefer to ride.

So this gets me thinking how there are times and situations where God asks us to obey Him and do something. He asks us to “drive”. We may not understand it or want to do it or feel we can do it—but He asks us to try. Sometimes God is not okay with us in the passenger seat. Sometimes He wants to activate our faith and develop in us a new level of ability and confidence and faith obedience. This is why I share.

Not everyone is given the blueprint for God’s destinations for your life. They may question, ponder or even dislike your choices. Part of being willing to drive is being ok with the disapproval of others. This one has traditionally been hard for me, to a degree, because I am such a people lover. But ultimately when you are locked and loaded, eyes on the mark, intentionality to pursue Gods plans for you in overdrive—this is when we most feel alive and edified. Heart and soul God means to bring you more…always! So sometimes we must drive even if we don’t want to. Even if our choices are difficult to make and may even hurt (unintentionally) people you deeply care for. Because you know God’s love means more. He is to be the Apple of our eye. Just as we are His.

More love.
More Hope.
More devotion.
More time.
More attention.
More healing.
More Power.
More of Himself.
More Peace.
More fruit of the Spirit.

That’s why they call him the God of the Abundance.

So drop your cares in the passenger seat. Even when He asks you to partake in destinations you didn’t sign up for—the signs for your life are everywhere. Oh my lord, look at how much He cares!

Take the high road with all its bumps and curves. There is extraordinary blessing just ahead, that’s what I’ve heard!

Sometimes the biggest instructions we take are simply to help us learn what we need to learn so we can fulfill our duty and destiny. Heaven loves you and in the end, makes your path smooth.

God’s best for you is yet to be.
He will crown your life in Victory.
You are a Beautiful Story.

“…Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

Pain has a way of changing people. Some for the better, but some for the not so much better. Pain is like an acid rub on the heart. It can clean and clear away dead skin (the flesh) and debris and create a luster and shine that goes out and administers the fruit of the experience like a heavenly rub—bringing relief to the pain of others by vehicle of Compassion and Mercy and Empathy.
It can be a tremendous vehicle toward heart shine of the best kind.⭐️

But for others pain is deep and the path of healing is never chosen so their pain only creates more pain as they bleed on everyone around them.

How do you cope with pain?

Have you endured a grief that begs for relief, but haven’t any idea how to choose the path of healing?
You cannot change what has happened to you or control the circumstances around you all the time. But what you can do is be in charge of deciding to heal. The path of healing will NOT include self pity, pride that justifies personal rights and being right. Vindictiveness will never be apart of God’s plan. The only way to achieve relief is for you to decide to release.

Ask God every day to help you choose the path of forgiveness and to release the memories that haunt you. Then the invisible finger of God will probe your heart, mind and soul and pull out the hurt and heal the heart, mind and flesh.

Take it to Jesus, Honey, He died for this!

Your best days are ahead for you. Live, Love and may a Joy Explosion emerge from you. Life’s too short and too precious to live bitterly. Live better!

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” Romans 8:38

You are Loved.
You are cherished.
You are adored.
You are esteemed by the Crown of Heaven.
You are Besotted.
You are Betrothed.
You are Accepted.
You are Blessed.
You are Favored.
You. Are. Loved.

Now, Beloved, be healed, whole and STRONG. The One who is ready and able has made Himself available to you. It’s what He came to do! Because He loves you.💗

The Lord is…
A Divine Giver of Grace.

The Lord is…
Responsible for the smile on my face.

The Lord is…
The deepest Lover and Redeemer of your soul.

The Lord is…
The One who each day falls in love with us more and more.

Who can hold the depths of your heart? The secret cries of your soul—
He hears it all and He won’t let go.

He loves you more.

He loves you more than anything you go through or feel has overcome you.
He loves you more.
And just as Ruth declared to Naomi—
He will go where you go. He will stay where you stay.
He will Rest and Abide where
You rest and abide.

Because He loves you more. ♥️

Irresistible

You can do it.

Have you ever notice when you are attempting to do something that resonates down deep in your soul, all heaven and earth seem to begin to move against you instead of with you? It’s quite common actually. Every great thing accomplished in history was completed under tremendous duress. Especially when it was something that began to shift the way a society did something or thought about something. It’s part of what makes the story great. I think God loves a good story as much as the rest of us.

Take the parasol for example. A useful tool used to keep a woman’s face shaded and protected from the sun. The gentleman who got the brilliant idea to begin using it for an umbrella found himself under tremendous opposition to tradition in the introduction of this useful tool. In fact, it took forty years for the umbrella, as we know it and it’s usefulness today, to become socially accepted. An umbrella! Hardly an instrument to shape and shift a culture in a profound way, but look how necessary they have become.

So next time you feel discouraged, feel like quitting, considering your options to give up. Think again. Reassess. Then Press! God will go with you and provide every resource and assistance required of you to see the breakthrough. In the process, he is creating within you clean lines of a chiseled and strong character and heart. So don’t lose Heart! Today is a new day…what a fantastic start for all things extraordinary. YOU have a part.

You’ve got amazing written all over you. ~Nicole

Orange Blossom or Orange Crush?

God lean into my heart to reshare this post. It is lengthy, but the Holy Spirit has placed incredible meat here if you seek it. As I re read it this morning I felt deep levels of gratitude for that Sunday School teacher I mentioned. She was faithful, even to the one, me, and I am ever grateful to her contribution to the person God has molded me to be today. Do not be discouraged. Remain Faithful. Your efforts are not futile. ~Nicole♥️

Broken & Brave

This post has been welling up in me for three or more weeks. I have scribbled in my journal, dreamed of it, lingering my thought life and prayer life through it as I hear the Lord penetrate my heart with instructions on what I should say. This post is straight from the heart with the purest love and intention to heal a wounded heart and introduce you to the love of a lifetime… and so I write…

I grew up in church.

I think I “accepted Jesus in my heart” at the age of six. All I remember about this experience was that it was in a small, kind of dimly lit, Sunday School classroom. There were barely any kids in my class. In fact, I recall frequently being the only kid. My teacher was old. When I prayed the prayer she gave me a gift. It was a small…

This Day…

This day…

Help me, Lord to rest in your confidence, Truth and will.
Equip me to remain as peace in my heart, mind and soul.
Stir my heart and it’s devotions more deeply toward you.
Everything I am able to do is because of you.
May I abide in Christ and love more. Not to love as I know I can and have been able to love in the past.
Not to love as I wish too-
But to love as you do.
Head to toe, heart and soul, you’ve always got more of the good stuff my heart and soul long for.

You are Good. So Good.
You are Splendid. Splendid indeed.

May I lie at your feet on the threshing floor as Ruth did-
waiting for the Kinsmand Redeemer to bring forth an Abundant Harvest of your Good Promise.

My King of kings- I love you more.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Jeremiah 31:3

***Poetic Prose of Prayer and Praise. I script my heart and personal prayers on page as a guide post to gain deeper intimacy in Christ. He is waiting for you to go deeper in Him.

Soul Investments

Preparation precedes the pantry!

Rise Up! Seeds to be sown, love to be shown, work to be done! There is a great harvest in the waiting!

I’ve never seen anyone win the prize without first preparing and running the race.
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken and their seed begging for bread.
I’ve never seen seed sown in Christian love fail to multiply ten fold.
I’ve never seen the Red Sea part—
But I know it did.

When we are skilled to parent God’s kids we guide and teach our young how to have balanced living. There is a time for preparation. There is a time for organization.
There is a time to plant, prepare, sow and leave nothing to spare.
God’s looking for an Army who are All In.

If we teach our children how to live in deeper levels of devotion and structure— leveraging their resources in a way that allows them time to play after the work has been done—
Then their life will be a successful one.

When we work, we work.
When we play, we play.
But the wisdom is knowing the order in which they come.

Rise up.
Do the work.
Discipline your life.

Be the Master of your flesh and make it subject to your command.
Then pray and see God move Mightily and bless you with a Harvest of Joy, Righteousness and fruit of your labors.

In simpler terms—God will reward your hard work and help you achieve your goals!

Have you ever been afraid of something potentially good?

I guess it’s a common idea because where else would the phrase,

“it’s too good to be true” come from?

There are always many deep and layered reasons for people to have fear. They may fear being hurt. They may fear what could happen—sometimes fear of the bad and sometimes a fear of possibly good things happening. There could be fear of the simple unknown attached to the other side of our fears. There is fear of letting go. There is fear of change. Fear of the “what if”.

Fear of the “what if” is a terrible way to live. But countless thousands do it every day…In fear…

I had a dream last night and woke up only to realize God was showing me an area of my heart where I am afraid. God was showing me how His Designs on my life are what’s best for me.

I had a conversation yesterday with a client in a season of change and shared with her how trusting God is like a practice in continual restful meditation. A person who does yoga learns how to relax their mind, body and soul. Actively meditating of God throughout the day keeps us driven and focused toward goals all the while listening and yielding to His guidance to our steps and His setting of the cadence to our pace.

True Trust yields.

I guess I need to yield a little more, not be afraid and allow my destiny to envelope me and take the lead.

God has a way of showing us that He is always in control. Sometimes He lets us hold the reigns, but His Leadership remains unchanged. He is still the key to everything.

How about you? Are there some doors God is trying to open and you keep running from their view? Are there seasons and shifting a occurring in your life and you know God is behind it waiting for you in the other side, but you are afraid of all the “what if’s” that reside?

Let’s take my advice together. He loves you in ever increasing measure. There is nothing about you that has yet to be revealed or exposed. He knows every detail about you from the top of your nose to your toes. He finds you splendid and His plans for you outrageously kind, compassionate, loving and pure. He is truly loyal to you. Embrace His lead, yield your heart, mind and soul and watch Him flood your life with everything worth trusting Him for.

He is Besotted.
You are Adored.
Leave your fears on the floor.

Allow your life His excitement.
Life with God is an Adventure!
Prepare to be Amazed.

That’s the word on my heart today. It encouraged me first-I hope it did you as well. Blessings♥️—

Nicole

Soap Suds & Begonia’s

D67B91A2-6927-41B7-A71E-306A2E662877

I have hand washed my dishes for years now. I want to guess it’s been about seven or eight years. I didn’t intentionally start hand washing—only a few pieces of China that wouldn’t fair well under the harshness of the dishwasher. I can’t even recall what year it was, but when my dishwasher began giving me trouble and we’d fix it and the trouble would come back, instead of replacing the dishwasher, I just BECAME the dishwasher. My children also.
This is when I discovered something.

I enjoyed it.

I found standing at the sink so therapeutic. It’s such a mindless task so you can stand there and get the job done while allowing your mind to be completely somewhere else. My time at the kitchen sink became a cherished time of worship and prayer. It was almost like a “prayer closet” as some would call their special place they go to meditate.

I feel the exact same way about digging around in the dirt. I don’t enjoy heavy yard work, but gardening…that’s fun. It is there I’ve received some of my most cherished Words from the Lord. I discovered very early in my marriage, while living in our first home, that if I needed to relax or decompress or just be with my Lord, He would always show up in the Garden. I had already known I was attracted to meandering around in the flowerbeds, something my parents and family always did, but this little added delight took the cake. I was hooked.

I’ve lived in a smaller home, and I’ve lived in grand oversized home and I love them both, but for different reasons. One thing I love about a big yard is the kids have space to run and play (when they were little anyway). But a bigger yard can be so overwhelming. Our first home had a nice size flower garden and was quite easy to manage. One full afternoon what all that was necessary to trim, cut, prune and plant. Planting was always the fun part. To step back and drink in the visually stunning hue of color splashed about the house. I absolutely love it.

My Grandmother used to tell my Mother and then my Mother to I, that “the porch was the extension of the home”, care for the outside as you would the inside. Blessed with amazing women in my life who understood the importance of the love placed in the details.

Love will always be found in the details. God knows your exact love language. He will always know how to seek your heart and speak to it. He relishes time with you. His devotion will always out extend anything for Him you could say or do. You cannot earn His love—in fact you can’t earn it. He is too lofty and grand for that. But He loves with such humble grace He always stoops down. Because He is in fact smitten with humanity.

Great ideas, great achievements, great escapades always go best with common duties.

Next time you may fuss or be in a rush to get through the unimportant details of your life—sit back and relax. It just may be in these tiny moments are the most splendid and seasoned times to marinate in God’s Favor and Pleasure. The world may read a self help book, take a yoga class, go on a retreat, have a drink, or even eat—but what if I suggested your common duties as washing dishes or kneeling in the Garden were times of immeasurable ministry of love God’s heart to yours?

God is ever Faithful in the little things because He is ever Faithful to you.

-Nicole♥️
