Wait for a Second…

“I Am is calling…you out of a dark and dusty wasteland.
I Am…is turning His gaze to you only the way a lover would do.
I Am…is fortified and preparing a place for you.
I Am…has tucked you deep into the chambers of his heart, where for many it is dark as night, but I Am has come to dispose your personal darkness with Oceans of Delight. Everyplace in your heart, your mind, your life that has remained dormant and quiet will now spring forth in abundant light. I Am is the God of the Second Chance.”

He is the God of the Second Chance. He is a God fully invested in your Future Grace. He is the God committed to helping you succeed. He is the God who is faithful to meet your every need. He is the God who cares and He is Faithful. Day in, day out, He is faithful to stand by your side, walking out the days of your life as though it were a rigid assignment of the Lord appointed to protect and lead. Like a valiant steed, carrying you over rubble and graveled terrain. He won’t allow any harm to come to your frame.

He is the God of the Second Chance and His chances are eternal and without limit. Everyday he washes away any painful memory of the past and gives you a second chance.

Embrace his chances today.
Life is lovely, let him live it with you.

Do you have any areas of your life you feel out of chances, like it’s just too late? Well, for God, this is merely the starting gate. His tender Mercies and Compassions never fail. He is for you with unlimited chances to adore you every day.

“Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!”
Isaiah 30:18

“The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness,” Psalm 18:28

“I will lead the blind by ways they have not known,
along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;
I will turn the darkness into light before them
and make the rough places smooth.
These are the things I will do;
I will not forsake them.”

Slay…

Feed the hungry and slay your giant...

“Then Jesse said to his son, David, ‘Take now for your brothers an ephah of this dried grain and these ten loaves, and run to your brothers at the camp. And carry these ten cheeses to the captain of their thousand, and see how your brothers fare, and bring back news of them.'” 1 Samuel 17:17-18

Sometimes our Heavenly Father sends us into a situation that turns out to be an opposing giant in our life. We can be tempted to think, “if I hadn’t obeyed my Father I wouldn’t be in this situation.” But because we love our Father, as David did so his, we obey, just as David.

Your giant could be difficulties at work, or maybe a health scare, maybe your household is turned upside down or your finances in disarray. Your giant could even be something opposing your faith. But God, Abba Father, knew what He was doing when He picked you. He knew it was you He wanted to send with provision for the situations of life at hand. Your entire life is a Divine Assignment when your heart is in proper alignment with Heavens Signature Pen. He knew…

Though you may seem small in your situation or the least of your resources…He knew you were really great. He sees what’s inside. He knows He crafted you with superb ingredients. He knows the kind of food you bring to every avenue of this life you lead.

So, He put His Word in your heart and it extols the Lord. When you share your heart others are fed. It doesn’t matter what you do for a living or what your giant is- you’ve been sent to the battle line to face it, overcome it and sustain others from your experience. God has you strategically placed right where you are at for His purpose sake.

Run to the battle line, do not shrink back, and watch your Father pull a sling shot from His pouch, face the Giants of life through you and with one shot knock them out!

All by the power of the Cross. Embrace the journey…
It is meant to be extraordinary!

70 “He chose David his servant
and took him from the sheep pens;
71 from tending the sheep he brought him
to be the shepherd of his people Jacob,
of Israel his inheritance.
72 And David shepherded them with integrity of heart;
with skillful hands he led them.”

Psalm 78:70-72

Wholeness

“Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

Time…oh how we take you for granted. We are each given 24 hours in a day, but what we do with it, that’s where we all separate and deviate. My time is precious. I have a large family. We own two businesses. I am fully committed to my job in my family first. This means I prioritize and schedule my life as best I can in compliance with the demands a full life can bring. Modern day America is not designed for large families.

I find there are many perks to managing a large family. My favorite will always be the relationships. I love it. I grew up in a quiet home. Everything was fairly tidy all the time. I come from a very organized and neat people. We were the American family of four. Two kids…a boy and a girl. Life was fairly predictable and stable. For all of it I am grateful. But having a large family sort of teaches you a few things. I learned how to roll with it. I learned to not sweat the small stuff. I learned to not get overwhelmed by the responsibilities of life, but to take things in stride. Focus on the difference in the demands of my day between “important” and “priority”. I gained intense balance in nearly everything.

I think I’ve always been a pretty even keeled person. I don’t get extremely exciteable, though I am emotionally expressive and have fun. But neither do I get extremely low.  Even with this, I have continued to grow in these areas because managing a lot of people, attending and serving can take quite a toll on the soul if you allow it. But when you have balance you say no when you need to and take time for self to recharge and refresh. As far as parenting goes, my Mother always gave me wise words long before I ever had kids that stuck long in my heart. She said, “Say yes as often as you can, so when you say no they know you mean it.” In other words, don’t say one thing and do another.

Demands upon us are everywhere. To live a fully yielded life -full of wholeness of mind, body, spirit-we need to gain ground in understanding the principles of God’s abilities. He doesn’t think like we think and the more we become melded with Him, the less carnal our thinking becomes as it transitions to deeper levels of set apart holiness. We are Holy because of Calvary. But we are called to set ourselves apart as holy unto Him.

I am fascinated with God’s healing power. Those old stories in the Bible of miracles, signs and wonders…they still exist! The problem is we have stopped believing in them. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is still available for you. His calendar is not clogged. His schedule is not booked. He is not out of town on business or away from the office. You can check in anytime to receive a miracle.

When we realize that ALL of life’s issues were nailed to a tree at Calvary, then we know we already have what we desire. Physical, financial, emotional, relational healing. When you have this, you have Peace and your anxieties will be fleeting. Your soul will finally experience true healing.

I love that.

If you are liking what you are reading, but haven’t any idea how to gain healing in your life, don’t lose hope. God adores you, wants to make time for you and is interested in helping you recover all that has been lost. Just because He loves you.

Greater Blessing…

Your life has meaning and significance. Though some seem to struggle more than others, this too has purpose. God is always fixated on you greater potential and greatest blessing. Sometimes the greater the struggle is indicator the greater the Treasure He has deposited in your heart. So do not be discouraged. Every breath you take is God’s gentle reminder…”You are validated, impactful and important.” ~Nicole

Kingsize Loveđź‘‘

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believed in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

A deep love for God is received by His Grace, but as we show our love back to Him we follow Him where ever He leads. If it be through treacherous terrains, sleet, storms, tornadoes, or a scorching dessert sun…this is the road less travelled that leads to His Treasures of Heart. It doesn’t matter how it “looks”, we merely “Go”.

Moses, with his back against the Red Sea was on the road less travelled and he was delivered Triumphantly.

David had to hide in a cave to preserve his name, but not a stitch on the hem of his gown was prevented from bringing him a crown.

Esther presented herself before a King, knowing full well she may surely perish…but she didn’t.

And God Himself wrapped up in Love for you that ran so deep, He crawled through a Cross to be near to you. But his soul the grave couldn’t keep.

That’s the kind of thing True Love will do. ~Nicole
