Fearless

Posted in Uncategorized tagged , , , , at 6:44 am by Broken & Brave

When I was a young girl I may have been slightly afraid of the dark. I didn’t like to go to sleep in pitch black. I preferred my door slightly cracked and my Mom or Dad would leave a light in in the hall, or another adjoining room for backlighting. I could comfort in the light. I would also get all comfy in my covers, pulling them up over my head but tucking them just so…my mouth and nose were exposed to the fresh air. I slept this way for as long as I can remember. But something happened over time, whatever cause my discomfort with the dark began to subside and I found myself preferring to sleep with total darkness. In fact, the darker the atmosphere the better I rest.

This is how it is when we come to a place of being centered in God’s Goodness. We can find ourselves in the darkness of night, be it a trial or something that hinders our sight, but we are comfortable and at rest because we haven’t forgotten we are loved, protected and blessed. Your fortnight will come. Whatever ails your heart or makes you uneasy~God’s got a remedy that is truly quite easy. Nothing is too hard for him.

Your Daddy knows. He loves you with an incredible love. Hand in glove, you won’t slip. And should you trip, he will cause his angels to look over you and see you through. You are His candidate for victory. ~Nicole

Overwhelmed

Posted in Inspirational tagged , , , , , , , , , , at 6:23 am by Broken & Brave

Can you feel the tug on your heart?

God wants his time with you.

I pray today you would begin to trust the Lord more than you ever have before.

Sink deep in his chest.
Let him wrap his strong arms around you and yield to your soul complete Peace and Rest.
Be blessed with the Kindness of Heaven.

Soak it in.
Drink deep.
Get some sleep.
You’re going to need your strength for the journey and adventures God plans for you to take.
Be touched by his heart to yours. May he lead you beside still waters and vanquish all that would siphon the flow of the Spirit in your life.

It is a marvelous life~
But only when God is in it does it yield the extraordinary.

Fortify your hope. Let there never be any complaint on your lips. May you forever experience the bliss and peace of knowing God can handle all of it. He just wants you closer. He wants to speak to you. May you hear His voice more clearly than ever before. May his Sovereign hand rule your every decision and guide your steps. He is a faithful companion…
The best of friends…to the end.

This is my prayer for you today.
The besotted of heaven admires you and longs to inspire you.
He knows exactly what he has wired you to do. You can withstand it all. Comfort of Heaven now over you fall.

Allow yourself to be Overwhelmed with Goodness…

Amen

Infused Heart

Posted in Uncategorized tagged , , , , , , , at 5:32 am by Broken & Brave

I’m not sure the year I wrote the following post. But it was several years back right around this time of year…Easter. I found it in my notes “by chance” this morning.

What’s unique about it to me is that last night I had a dream so similar to its theme and woke up with the words of the Holy Spirit inspiring my heart. His words were along the same theme as my dream. It was all about being broken hearted and how things that damage us early in life can break our heart, but when we allow God’s invisible finger to reach down deep and heal that thing like a laser point of Infused Hope and Wholeness–we not only develop the ability to cope with stresses in life, but will use our story to inspire, connect and bind together His Chosen Body for Christ…using our story to add to its “membership” everyday. So, because of all these clues, I’m resharing this post with you.
I pray it reaches down deep and causes the Tender Touch of the Father to mend what needs mending in your wounded heart. God allows our hearts to be broken, so we can break for what breaks his. His kind of broken heart takes action with compassion. Left to itself, a wounded heart becomes a person with no heart.

Take great heart. The courage and hope of heaven has been transplanted in you. Rise up and take your place in this glorious day. Turn your gaze up. Because your Grestest Love wants to gleam with an eye of pride at your beautiful and Radiant face.💜

Here’s the notes:

When you have a large family your life is go, go, go. Even on a slow day it is comparable to a medium to a heavy day for a small family. Only people with large families understand this because of experience. But over the weekend I had incredible opportunity to rest despite my full work schedule. In my down time I watched a movie I hadn’t seen in years (but love)…”The Ultimate Gift”. I have always found tremendous similarities between the main character in this movie and my own life. As God taught me immeasurable lessons in many areas He broke it down…how to live a Victorious Life is most fruitful via a Broken Life.

Broken Hearted people are everywhere. They are easy to spot for they do a lot of bleeding that doesn’t resemble blood. My heart pounds for these people with Compassion and God’s Healing Touch. Then there are the broken who have healed but the healing wasn’t complete and left their heart closed up, crooked and deeply scared. When God heals the scar is seem-less though present. When the world heals it leaves much scar tissue that hinders function. I have an eye to spot them all.

How is your heart?

He carried His Cross so we could bear ours…Victoriously.
You should never have any doubts about your ability. God hand designed and picked you and your purpose. Abundant Reason! He is still Risen, even the day after Easter. You are HIS Ultimate Gift and He has Bountiful Treasure for you. ~Nicole

Peace-filled

Got Peace?

God wants our attention. At first He will be content with just a little bit, but He is a Jealous Lover of our soul. He wants of your life more and more. So, when trials come, turn your gaze to Him and leave it there when the trials end. For it is but too true…It is far better to have turmoil in your life, but Peace in your heart than to have peace in your life, but turmoil in your heart. ~Nicole

Be secretly-or not so secretly…
Incredible. Inner Peace has a way of making us incredible in every way.
The world aches for it. It is our responsibility to bring it. Love is the vehicle in which it travels.
Be at Peace.
Find your Rest.
There is Joy in the Harvest.

“For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain…having a desire to depart and to be with Christ; which is far better.”
Phil. 1:21,23

The Anchor calls…
Draw near…
Do not break away.
Come closer.
Stay…

When you smile, it melts the Heart and Soul of Heaven.
His whispers are soft and he is ever careful with his words.
Breath of Heaven knows your heart best and knows exactly how to extol your soul.
He is a caresser of soul and the discovered of every blissful corner of your being.
He edifies and magnifies and floods the senses with his Majesty.

There is nothing like it.

Holy Intimacy cannot be explained~only experienced.

It happens in the quiet recesses of of the heart, the soul. The mind. The emotions. He quickens and threshes thick. It is real and vibrant and oh so personal–
Just as intimacy should be.
Your friendship with God is personal and there is security in this.
He loves no one else the way he loves you.
How extraordinary.
How special.
He created you so he could pursue and win you.
Breath of Heaven had a winsome way about him.
He knows how to be winsome to win some.
Has he won your affections?
Are you distracted or locked onto his affection?
Can you feel his presence in your life?
Can you feel him caress your cares until they vanish in his love and comfort?

There is nothing like him.

God takes pleasure in humanity and he desires we take pleasure back in him.

Lean back.
Delight yourself in him.
Allow him to lavish you in unbridled and Besotted love.
Shun every distraction that would pull you away.
Carve out a space in the moments of your day to refresh yourself and relieve yourself in him.

Bountiful Blessings are the heart of what he has to offer you.

His love is deep.
His love is vast and wide.
His love is spacious and thick.
His love is fiery.
~In the thick of it you will find refuge, pardon, strength and a temperance of soul that transfigured all into his Beauteous Image.

May God continually bless you with his solace and sweetness.
The more you receive it the more you will find he replenishes with more of it.

He’s always got more…

Rest well.

Suit Up!

Posted in Uncategorized tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , at 6:38 am by Broken & Brave

People work, strive, plan, creating and attempting to create something every human soul craves…security.
We put money aside for retirement. We save. We budget and bargain shop stretching our dollars as far as they will go. We buy insurance for every imaginable detail of life.

But as long as you live you will need spiritual security. You will need your armor. Life is full of the unexpected. We don’t live expecting bad things or troubles to come, but we know we live in an imperfect world. We know better than to fantasize about a pseudo-eutopia. When we place our security in the right place, the correct Source, we know we are protected.

Wait for the Lord, behave honorably, never lose hope, maintain courage. To fear is to doubt God. Trust Him. Steadily offer your heart, mind, body, soul to the true and secure anchor for it all. Bonafide child of God. What are you so worried for anyway? Never give up! This is what it means to truly live by faith. You possess past grace, present grace and there is future grace for you as well. Grace is not just God’s favor and protection, it is also him causing good things to happen for you. He brings the blessings to you. So suit up soldier and relax in his Grace! He’s got you. ~Nicole

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God…”

Activated Faith

Posted in Uncategorized tagged , , , , , , , , at 7:01 am by Broken & Brave

I think technology is great. Computers, internet, cell phones, social media, etc. It creates a fast way to connect, learn, communicate. However, I am also a very old fashion girl. I prefer face to face communication. Maybe its the counselor in me. Active listening skills require feedback, observation of non verbal communication and listening.

That’s how it is with God also. We can see glimpses of him in music, the sunset, etc. But it’s when we pour ourselves into Him that He shows us his face, his heart and blesses us with his Presence.

You are loved. You are valuable. You are set apart to do great things. He is with you and he is calling you by name. Do not be afraid to reach back to him the same.

Fortified Goodness

Posted in Uncategorized tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , at 6:16 am by Broken & Brave

Your True Identity is void of fear; hidden in the heart of God. His heart chambers are fortified with serenity and absolute protection.

You have dreams, hopes, aspirations all tucked inside of you. Hidden in the chambers of your heart, like a chest of treasure. Hold onto your hopes, protect them, they have incredible value and God will protect and bless it. Remain faithful, but even when you struggle, His Faithfulness will swoop you up and carry you in what seems to be effortless apparel to your destination- safely and on time.

God is both an incredible Warrior and a Beautiful Poet. He will slay your fears, wipe your tears and Comfort your soul with great affection. Place full confidence in Him.

No more wondering about what will happen? How will it happen? When will my prayers get answered? Instead, worship!

No more wonder, just worship!

Childlike Faith!
