Visible

Invisible…

I think everyone has relationship goals of one sort or another. One of my goals for as long as I can remember is this…
I want to love each of my children as though they were my favorite. I want each child to feel so loved they don’t question my love for them in comparison to a sibling. This, for any parent, is such a delicate, patient and time focused goal. There will always be times when one child gets more of time, energy/attention or money, but the key is to keep it balanced.

Did you know that God loves you like that? It’s true. He totally and completely sees you. You are not invisible to him.

I spent all of my young life and even into adulthood feeling invisible. Not because of my parents or anything like that-but with peers and the world at large. I was enormously bashful and quiet. These qualities makes it easy to feel invisible. On top of this I am a bit soft spoken. Even when I try to be loud I can’t be. I actually have a hard time with large crowds and lots of loud noises. My natural bent is to recluse myself in those settings, even more so as a kid.

It wasn’t until I noticed God noticing me that my shell began to chip off and I began to blossom and bloom under the Radiant loom of His love, attention and care. I never needed to be a favorite at anything. I was too shy for any kind of attention like that. I just didn’t like feeling invisible…like I had no voice, no place. His love gave me a voice and it turns out, my passions and calling in life requires the use of that voice. You can’t encourage without using your voice!

God loves you. He sees you. He hears you in the quiet of your soul.
There’s something He wants you to know…

I have no doubt. You are God’s favorite, too. He’s just a cool Papa like that–I like that–His love is enough for all of us. ~Nicole

Future President🌟

Posted in Prayer of blessing, true story tagged , , , , , , , , at 7:04 am by Broken & Brave

It only takes one person to believe in you to Light your Purpose afire.

When my daughter was little she had a t-shirt that said, “future president”. All my little ones inherited this shirt & as time went on I began telling ppl when they met my babies, that they were a future president. Most ppl would laugh like I was being funny…while I wouldn’t laugh, but would just pause and smile. I was declaring purpose over them.

President of what? A corporation? A club? The country? ….Yes.
I was declaring leadership over them.

Others may not have recognized it but God did. I didn’t let another’s lack of vision prevent mine. By the time I had number four, Joel, I had ppl telling me he looked like a president (he was a baby!) true story. All it takes is one who sees all you can be & speak it faithfully.

You are a diamond for for polish. Shine, let is shine…Brilliantly. ~Nicole

It may feel easier to draw back and recluse yourself in self preservation. But God’s drawing you out in His Perfect Love. His affection is over you. Transparency breeds intimacy and trust, but transparency is scary, it involves risk. I tell you that you are the Beloved of Heaven. There is no safer place to be yourself than in quiet prayers to an Almighty God. The more transparent we can be with God the more we can have healthy and worth while relationships with others. It’s like opening the ribbon from a gift to see something amazing inside. He unravels our discomforts and sets them aside and then focuses on the content of our heart…beauty purified by His Love. The best of you is still locked inside of you, but God wants to draw it out into full view for others to see, too. He believes in you! ~Nicole

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

Joy Storm

“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.” Ecc. 3:1

I am a preparer of words, feeder of the heart, nurturer of the soul. God sees your heart. He sees what I cannot. He gives me insight and glimpses of what to say, but 9 times out of 10 times I don’t know how or who it will impact. God has drawn you here and you are welcome.

We are all feeding others with our words everyday (whether written or spoken). What shall we serve? I desire my words to be nourishing to the heart, mind, soul, yet sweet and flavorful to the palate. Should I serve you meat, I know you have to be able to get it down, with a delicate choice of my words.

So, here is to you and all you hope to do, all you desire to see, everything in your heart you can conceive to be. God placed every desire in your heart. It is up to you to harness it accordingly and use it to live out your dreams…and as you pave a wake in your destiny, you leave a trail of a beautiful and fragrant aroma that builds others up and takes their breath away in the most delightful way.

You are capable of far more than you currently dare to dream. I know this is true…you are magnificent. The Lord bless you and keep you, making his face to shine upon you. The Lord lift up your countenance and bring you Peace, Joy, Love and Glorious Anticipation as you have never known before. This is only the beginning… YOU HAVEN’T SEEN ANYTHING YET! ~Nicole

Secrets to Strength

Posted in Devotional, true story tagged , , , , , , , at 7:36 am by Broken & Brave

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

What words are dripping from your lips? Are you self sabotaging your own better self, your own better health, you own best fitness or career ambition? Is your family suffering by the words falling from your mouth?

Our words have so much power to prophesy what will be. What you believe can shape and direct the very coarse of your life. In my own health and fitness I always imagined I could be very fit and the master of my food choices, but it took me a very long time to overcome and get to the level of discipline in my exercise and eating that I needed to be to see the fruit I wanted to see, but I did not give up. I kept speaking where I was going and believing it would come. This is only one example.

EVERY area of your life is at your disposal to be INCREDIBLE if you can just shift your mind. When you get your mind right, every issue of life becomes the lesser issue and takes flight from influencing your life. So get your mind right! You’ve got real strength behind those lips! ~Nicole
