Covenant Not Contract

In Romans Chapter 4 we learn that God sees His relationship with us as a fluid entity. Covenant, not a Contract.

Big difference.

In a covenant you are loved and whole just as you are. In a contract once a mistake or breach has occurred the contract is broken.

We may be broken, but God’s love for us never is. This is something we can rely on.

The world is full of hardship and heartache—but take heart. God has overcome the world. ~Nicole
